Real Madrid legend, Roberto Carlos has expressed confidence that his countryman Vinicius Junior will win the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
According to Carlos, Vinicius is super calm and close to being the best footballer in the world.
The former Brazilian left-back said this following Real Madrid’s recent LaLiga 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.
“Vini is super calm. He knows he is very close to being the best in the world,” Carlos said (via Madrid Universal).
“He played some great games last season and this year, we are trying to make him more relaxed with the crowds and the Ballon d’Or is there.
“I’m very sure he is going to win it.”
Vinicius is competing with the likes of Rodri, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Ademola Lookman, among others for the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
