Remo Stars have dedicated their matchday eight victory over Bendel Insurance to their late supporter, Ajala Monsuru.
The Sky Blue Stars defeated Bendel Insurance by a lone goal at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Sunday.
Ghanaian-born midfielder Dela Akorli scored the winning goal for Remo Stars.
Remo Stars also wore a black armband as a mark of respect and a minute silence was observed before the game for the departed fan.
“A win dedicated to Ajala Monsuru,” Remo Stars wrote on X.
“Rest on, our dear sky blue star.”
