The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Alumni Association (MAPALUM) has extended warm Eid-al-Adha greetings to its Muslim members and the wider Muslim Ummah, calling for renewed commitment to compassion, sacrifice, and community spirit.

In a statement signed by the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Ganiyu Olowu, and made available to PLATFORM TIMES, MAPALUM’s National President, Alhaji Ayinde Soaga, urged members to reflect deeply on the core values of Eid-al-Adha — sacrifice, obedience, and selflessness — and apply them meaningfully within their families, workplaces, and the broader society.

“Eid-al-Adha is a profound reminder that the strength of any community lies in our willingness to give, to serve, and to stand together in love and sacrifice.

“As proud MAPOLY alumni, let us translate the lessons of this season into positive action in our society,” Soaga said.

The association encouraged members across all chapters to embrace the season’s spirit of giving and mutual support by reaching out to the needy and fostering unity within and beyond the alumni community.

MAPALUM also charged its members to celebrate peacefully and remain law-abiding, noting that the values of empathy, humility, and responsible leadership have always been at the heart of the MAPOLY tradition.

“Let this season ignite in us a renewed commitment to nation-building, service, and meaningful alumni engagement,” the statement added.

Reaffirming its mission, the association stated its continued resolve to strengthen alumni networks, contribute to the development of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, and serve as a catalyst for positive social impact through its global community of professionals.
