The administration of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, through the office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has made significant interventions across key socioeconomic sectors in Adamawa State. These interventions are not only improving the quality of life for the people but are also strategically addressing developmental gaps, especially in underserved and remote communities.

Under the leadership of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Focal Person on SDGs, Muhammad Alfa Raji, the projects and programs implemented are fully aligned with the state’s development agenda. They are designed to tackle pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges, in line with the global goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and equitable service delivery is evident in the scope and scale of the projects undertaken. Below are highlights of key SDG-driven initiatives executed across the state:

    4. Reactivation of Non-Functional Water Facilities
    • Repair and reactivation of 72 broken-down boreholes across six LGAs: Numan, Madagali, Girei, Yola North, Michika, and Ganye.

These initiatives reflect the Fintiri administration’s unwavering commitment to sustainable development, inclusive governance, and people-centered policies.
