The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has dispelled the rumour that he consults demons before ministering, asking  the members of the church to pray for his death if he consults with demons to minister.

Adeboye said this during the church’s 71st Annual Convention Holy Ghost Service, tagged ‘Beyond Expectations’, at the Redemption Camp in Mowe, Ogun State, on Friday night.

Addressing the congregation at the Redemption Camp in Mowe, Ogun State, on Friday night, Adeboye dispelled rumours that he consulted with demons for his ministerial activities.

He  urged  members to pray for his well-being and against the proliferation of evil in the nation.

Reacting to accusations that he sought demonic intervention before ministering, Pastor Adeboye boldly stated, “I want you to say this prayer: If Pastor Adeboye has any links with any demonic powers, let him die before the sun rises.

Father, if I (Adeboye) am using your power alone, then multiply that power sevenfold.”

Expressing his typical disregard for negative narratives about him, he added, “I normally do not pay attention to the sayings of the so-called prophets, particularly if they are saying something about me, I just ignore them.”

Setting the focus on prayer for national harmony, Adeboye implored the congregation to pray against emerging conflicts both within and beyond Nigeria’s borders.

He observed that the country was already grappling with several internal challenges, including kidnapping, terrorism, and violence.

The convention also provided a platform for Pastor Adeboye to unveil plans for the forthcoming RCCG Holy Ghost Service in the subsequent month.

The event is dedicated to individuals fervently seeking the blessing of children.

Adeboye’s anticipation for abundant blessings was evident as he stated, “I believe God that there will be a lot of twins, triplets and many more.

“God does not know how to do small things and does not stop when your cup of blessings is full.”

In a reassuring note, he reminded attendees that God’s intervention brings transformation, turning moments of shame into opportunities for glory.

Pastor Adeboye emphasized the significance of commitment to the work of God, particularly when receiving divine promotions.

As the convention progressed, the joyous occasion saw the delivery of 62 babies, comprising 31 females and 31 males, adding an extra layer of celebration to the ongoing event.
