The commissioner for Youth Development, Delta state, Hon. Agbateyimiro Isaac Weyinmi has assured that the confident His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori, has reposed on him to serve Deltans will not be betrayed.
The commissioner spoke during an interview with journalists while reeling out his plans for the Ministry and Youth of Delta at the state secretariat in Asaba.
He disclosed that this administration will consolidate on what the previous administration had done that there might be innovations in terms of empowerment for youth to meet the current and reality on ground.
He said “will we consolidate on what we meet on ground, but let me thank all the previous commissioners for laying a solid foundation which we are now leveraging on”
“ We should expect some innovations in terms of empowerment to meet the current trends”.
He maintained that his expectations is to see Delta state Youths individually and collectively excel globally, that his vision is in line with the MORE Agenda of the state governor.
He, called on the youths across the 25 local government areas of the state to key into the MORE Agenda of the governor, saying if “you are not onboard it will be difficult for this administration to know what your needs are and what you can offer as a youths”
Adding that as youths, your contributions, ideas are needed to see how to move the critical segment of the society forward.
