DSS Uncovers Politicians’ Plot to Mobilize Students For Violent Protests

In a recent development, the Department of State Services (DSS) has exposed a disturbing plot involving certain politicians aimed at orchestrating violent protests to tarnish the reputation of the Federal Government and security agencies, with a focus on socio-economic concerns.

According to intelligence reports obtained by the DSS, the conspirators comprise politicians who have meticulously strategized to rally student leaders, ethnically-based associations, youth factions, and disaffected groups for their disruptive agenda.

The DSS, through its spokesperson Peter Afunanya, issued a statement on Monday, September 4, 2023, revealing that they have successfully identified the masterminds behind this ominous scheme.

Additionally, the security agency has intensified surveillance on these individuals to prevent any actions that could plunge the nation into chaos.

Afunanya emphasized, “Given these troubling circumstances, university Vice-Chancellors and heads of tertiary institutions are strongly urged to dissuade their students from participating in activities that could jeopardize public peace.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to counsel their children and wards against succumbing to the allure of engaging in activities that disrupt law and order.”

“While acknowledging the government’s commitment to addressing the nation’s challenges,” Afunanya warned, “those intent on undermining national security should reconsider their actions.

The DSS will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals and groups involved in these malicious plans.”

This revelation by the DSS underscores the importance of maintaining law and order while addressing pressing societal issues, emphasizing the need for responsible civic engagement in shaping the nation’s future.
