In a celebration of professional camaraderie and the culmination of another successful year, the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is gearing up for its highly anticipated Annual Cocktails and End-of-the-Year Get-together.
A statement issued on Wednesday, by the state Secretary of the body, Kunle Olayeni,said the grand event is set to take place on Friday, the 22nd of December, 2023, at the prestigious Banquet Hall, Mitros Residences, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta.
An annual tradition, the gathering serves as a unique platform for Public Relations professionals, industry experts, and their associates to come together, exchange ideas, and reflect on the year’s achievements while expressing gratitude for divine blessings.
The Special Guest of Honour for this year’s celebration is none other than the distinguished Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Governor of Ogun State.
His presence adds a touch of prestige to the occasion, underscoring the importance of the public relations profession in fostering positive relationships within the community.
Scheduled to kick off at 5:00 pm sharp, the event promises an insightful pep talk on “Leading Right” by Mr. Jola Oyeneye, the accomplished Permanent Secretary of the Bureau of Public Service Transformation, Ogun State.
His address is expected to inspire and guide the public relations community on the path of effective leadership.
A significant highlight of the evening will be the public presentation of the Compendium of Public Relations Professionals in Ogun State.
This comprehensive compilation serves as a testament to the diverse talents and expertise within the state’s public relations landscape.
Additionally, the ceremony will witness the conferral of Awards upon distinguished citizens of Ogun State origin, recognizing their outstanding contributions to society.
