The bust yielded a seizure of 204.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly referred to as ice.
According to reports from the Times of India, Loua, one of the arrested individuals, had a previous encounter with law enforcement in 2019 under the NDPS Act, involving the possession of 207 grams of heroin.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that despite being out on bail, Loua found himself embroiled once again in drug-related activities.
Similarly, David, another detainee in this case, had a history of clashes with the law and had previously been apprehended by the Delhi Police.
The investigation unraveled a complex web of illicit activities, with the suspects utilizing medical and business visas to enter India for short stays. However, they overstayed illegally after their visas expired, engaging in drug trafficking operations within the country.
Authorities disclosed that the suspects procured the contraband from their home country at lower prices and then lucratively peddled them in local discos, pubs, and bars within the Tricity area.
