As Nigeria’s workforce commemorates this year’s Worker’s Day, the General Secretary of the Articulated Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) in Ogun State,Comrade Oluwatoyin Kamal Kelani, famously known as K Square has rallied workers to exhibit resilience in the face of prevailing hardships.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, K Square emphasised the adage that ‘tough times don’t last, only tough people do’.
In his address, K Square urged workers across the nation, particularly motorcycle operators in the State, to exercise patience with the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
He acknowledged the challenges faced by Nigerian workers in putting food on their tables and reassured them that the government is steadfast in its efforts to alleviate their plight, notwithstanding the disruptive actions of a few economic saboteurs.
Assuring of imminent relief for hardworking Nigerians, K Square underscored AMORAN’s commitment, under the leadership of Otunba Nurudeen Aina, also known as Alowonle, to ease the burden on motorcycle operators and ensure their safety, as well as that of their passengers, in the State.
“Government is quite aware of the herculean task workers in Nigeria pass through before they can put food on their table and are not relenting on their efforts to providing succour to the people. Say for some few economic saboteurs, who are hell bent on undermining the efforts of both the federal and state governments.”
Comrade Kamal called upon all workers in the State to maintain their resilience amidst the prevailing difficulties, reminding them that brighter days lie ahead.
He extended heartfelt wishes for an eventful Worker’s Day celebration to all.
