    Ogun SDP  Reaffirms Commitment, Readiness For Upcoming Elections

    The Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Ogun State has begun moves ahead of the coming elections in the state.

    The party held a meeting led by the Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Mustapha, comprising   chairmen and secretaries from all six local government areas (LGAs) within the central senatorial district.

    PLATFORM TIMES reports that the meeting we attended by leaders and members drawn from  Abeokuta South LGA, Abeokuta North LGA, Odeda LGA, Obafemi/Owode LGA, Ifo LGA, and Ewekoro LGA.

     

    The party  in a statement jointly signed by  its Chairman,Hon. Babatunde Mustapha and the Secretary, Babatunde, O. R ,said the  strategic meeting was a critical moment for the SDP.

    Mustaoha added that the party’s solid establishment and active presence across Ogun State. 

    The Leaders reiterated the party’s readiness and strategic approach for the upcoming elections, positioning the SDP as a strong, viable alternative for the electorate.

    In his address, Hon. Mustapha highlighted the party’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity and democratic engagement, welcoming new members and aspiring contestant.

    He said  “Our arms are widely open to welcome new members and contestants who are eager to showcase their interests and contribute to the progress and development of Ogun State through the SDP platform. 

    “We believe in the power of collective effort and the importance of every individual’s voice in shaping a prosperous future for our state.”

    The local government chairmen and their secretaries echoed these sentiments, voicing their commitment to mobilizing grassroots support and ensuring the SDP’s values and policies resonate deeply within their communities. 

    They pledged to work tirelessly to promote unity, transparency, and effective governance, principles that are the bedrock of the SDP.

    They added that the  meeting marks a renewed commitment to the Social Democratic Party’s ideals and sets the stage for a vigorous and successful election campaign. 

    According to them, the SDP remains steadfast in its mission to advocate for social justice, economic development, and equitable opportunities for all citizens of Ogun State.
