The Platform Times Investigative Journalism Foundation has entered into a partnership with SAVEALOT Media Ltd to distribute N4 million to students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria through a virtual test.
The SAVEALOT Media Ltd has set up a mobile classroom app for students to learn. The test will be administered on the app.
The nationwide virtual test will cover various academic courses and will be administered by prominent guest lecturers from reputable higher institutions across Nigeria.
Students will also be able to enroll in various courses, regardless of their institution, level, or location, and they can join the virtual test and compete for a share of the N4 million support fund allocated for the month.
For August 2024, the focus will be on students studying Mass Communication, Political Science, Business/Public Administration, and Social Science Education.
While SAVEALOT Media Ltd provided the funds, PTIJF will coordinate enrollment on the classroom app.
