The State Working Committee, SWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kaduna State, said there is no going back on the scheduled local government elections timetable earlier announced.

Abraham Alberah Catoh, PDP State Publicity Secretary, said in a statement on Friday that any subsequent change to the timetable will be announced.

He urged all members and supporters to conduct themselves in an orderly manner during and after the councillorship and chairmanship primaries, starting on Saturday, August 17, 2024, with the councillorship primaries at various ward headquarters.

According to him: “All the provisions of the party’s constitution and 2024 chairmanship and councillorship guidelines will be strictly adhered to.”
