Chelsea star Cole Palmer has revealed two things manager Enzo Maresca will do for him at the Premier League west London club.
Palmer played under Maresca during their time together at Manchester City’s Under-21s.
The duo, however, have now re-united at the Blues.
Speaking about Maresca, the England international said the Italian will ‘help him get better and improve his game.’
He said: “We have got an amazing coach, so it’s important to listen to the coach,” Palmer said, as quoted by Chelsea’s website. He will only help me get better and improve my game.
“So if I listen to him and work hard, I don’t see why this season can’t be even better.”
He added: “I have only been with him about a week or two here after the Euros, but I knew him from City.
“He was my manager in the Under-21s at City, where we won the league together. Then he was Pep’s assistant and now he is here.”
