The Kwara State Police Command has arrested Prophet Adeniyi Adebayo, also known as Prophet Ogunse, and his son, Promise Ogunse, in connection with the murder of a female graduate from the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa.

Although the victim’s identity has yet to be disclosed, sources reveal that she was recently invited by Promise, the first son of Prophet Ogunse, to a hotel in Ilorin.

The deceased’s body was later discovered at a dumpsite, sparking an investigation that led to the arrest of both father and son.

A source close to the investigation shared that the young woman had been lured to the hotel by Promise Ogunse last week.

“Her body was found at a dumpsite. It’s believed that hotel staff may have dumped her there after the perpetrators fled,” the source stated.

Following the discovery, police swiftly apprehended Promise and his father, the founder of The Light of God Miracle Embassy Church Worldwide. Both men are currently being detained at the police headquarters in Ilorin as investigations continue.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the Kwara State Police Command, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, indicated that more information would be provided later.

However, as of the time of filing this report, no further updates had been released.

The incident has sparked outrage and concern among the local community, with many calling for justice to be served swiftly in this tragic case.
