Mountain Top University has achieved an exceptional feat by receiving an excellent rating of over 80% from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for its degree programs.
The NUC recently approved five additional academic programs for the university, including Nursing Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health, and Biomedical Technology. This brings the total number of NUC-accredited undergraduate programs at Mountain Top University to 32.
An Inter-Ministerial Committee, comprising representatives from the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Ministry of Education, and NUC, visited the university in February 2024 and expressed great satisfaction with its compliance with education policy directives and facilities.
Ambassador Lazarus, leader of the Inter-Ministerial Committee, praised the university, stating that it will compete favorably with any other university in the country.
Mountain Top University’s Postgraduate School offers programs in 20 academic fields, solidifying its reputation as a competitive institution both nationally and globally.
This achievement is a testament to the university’s commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to providing quality education to its students.
