Chelsea legend, Gianfranco Zola, has criticised Victor Osimhen’s decision to move to Galatasaray after his proposed transfer to Chelsea broke down.
Osimhen is believed to have been on the verge of a move to the Premier League club, but no agreement was reached in time.
The Nigerian striker eventually joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
When Zola was asked for his opinion on Osimhen’s desire to leave in comparison to Paulo Dybala’s decision to Roma after turning down a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League, he told Corriere dello Sport: “One is a beautiful story and the other a little less so.
“Dybala chose with his heart and not with his wallet.
“But I don’t want to judge, everyone is free to make their own choices.”
