Asisat Oshoala has heaped plaudits on her Bay FC teammates following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with North Carolina Courage.

Oshoala opened scoring for the visitors in the 11th minute.

The home team however fought back with Ashley Sanchez netting the equaliser 12 minutes later.

It was Oshoala’s fifth goal of the season for Bay FC.

“It was a good feeling especially for the team, great efforts from the guys against a very tough side,” Oshoala told the club’s official website.

“They are a good team and play good football as well, it was difficult but we were able to get one point and it’s a big point for us.

“This is one of the teams in the playoffs, and at this stage, every point we get is very important. “It was a good outing for us physically and mentally.”
