Abia State government has said that allottees to the lands located on Phase 1 and 2 of Valley View Estate in Umuahia North LGA of the state have failed to comply with terms and conditions, resulting in the voiding of all their allocations.

This development was made known by the Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Chaka Chukwumerije in a press release he signed and made available to journalists.

The Commissioner, who said that the failure, refusal and neglect by the allottees to abide by the terms and conditions in their offer was responsible for the government decision, explained that the said land allocation offers had since elapsed and were no longer valid.

Similarly, the Abia State Ministry of Lands and Housing has suspended all allocations made to members of the public in respect of the project sites at Nkpa in Bende LGA and Umuopara in Umuahia South LGA of the state.

According to the Commissioner, the suspension would remain effective pending full and proper regularization of the projects.

“All transactions of these allocations are therefore put on hold till further notice.

“All concerned should comply strictly with the directive,” he said.
