Abiodun Honoured As Ogun NIPR Patron, Donates Bus 

In a remarkable show of support for the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Ogun State Chapter, the state  Governor, Dapo Abiodun has been inducted as a patron of the Institute.

He however, donated a brand new 16-seater bus to  facilitate the institute’s activities.

Abiodun announced the donation on Wednesday, during the maiden National Public Relations Conference held at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The Governor, in his address revealed his commitment to advancing the objectives of the NIPR in the state and beyond. 

The presentation of the bus was a highlight of the event, taking place shortly after the opening session of the conference.

The Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, accompanied by the State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, officially handed over the vehicle to Mrs. Seun Boye, the Chairman of the State NIPR, and other executive members. 

 Abiodun reaffirmed his commitment to the advancement of the NIPR’s mission by promising to provide the state chapter with a dedicated secretariat office. 

In acknowledging  Abiodun’s support and the efforts of Chief Yomi Badejo Okusanya, the President of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, emphasised the significance of hosting the national conference in Ogun State. 

He praised Chief Okusanya’s influence in attracting the governor to the conference, highlighting the collaborative efforts aimed at fostering synergy between the government and the public relations community.
