Bright Osayi-Samuel is doubtful for Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda due to injury.
Osayi-Samuel missed Fenerbahce’s 5-0 away win against Caykur Rizespor last weekend as a result of an ankle injury.
The 26-year-old could now be dropped from the squad due to the setback.
Interim head coach Austine Eguavoen is expected to unveil his squad for the games this week.
The Super Eagles will be up against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday, September 7.
The three-time African champions will then face the Amavubi of Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali, three days later.
