Nasarawa State Government has charged the newly-appointed board of Nigeria Premier Football League side Nasarawa United to be dedicated to the discharge of their duties.
The state deputy governor, Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, gave the charge when he hosted the board in his office in Lafia.
Akabe promised that the government would provide all necessary supports to the club and its staff to achieve both domestic and continental success.
“I charge you all to be dedicated, passionate, and committed to excellence in all you do”, Akabe stated his his address to the Nasarawa United board.
“May I, on behalf of my Principal, the Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, congratulate you all on your deserved appointments as Board Members of our darling football Club, Nasarawa United.
“Kindly note that all appointments in the State are done at the instance of the Governor. Ours is just to recommend.”
Nasarawa United will kick-start their 2024-25 campaign with a clash against Shooting Stars this weekend.
