    Akwa Ibom govt announces burial date for late first lady, Patience Umo Eno

    The family of the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Patience Umo Eno, has formally announced her burial arrangements.

    The Secretary to the State Government, Enobong Uwah, in a statement on Friday said the burial will hold on November 29 with a funeral service at her country home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium LGA.

    He also announced a week-long condolence visit beginning on November 20 ending on November 26.

    According to him, the Night of Worships and Tributes will be held on November 22, at the International Worship Centre in Uyo at 6pm.




    The SSG further stated that the service of Songs is billed for November 27, at her country home, Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area from 6 pm to 8 pm.

    “The family is deeply grateful for the overwhelming love and support from people and organisations across the country and beyond, and further requests continued prayers, understanding and solidarity,” Uwah said.

    He encouraged friends and well-wishers to join the family in the series of planned events to honour Pastor Patience Eno’s life.

    DAILY POST recalls that Pastor Patience Eno died on September 26 after an undisclosed sickness.
