The National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency has disclosed that Oil and gas companies operating in Nigeria flared 92.3 million standard cubic feet, mscf, of gas, worth an estimated N150 billion between January and April 2023. NOSDRA said the development represents an increase of 79.5 percent against 50.3mscf of gas flared in the corresponding period of 2022. The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun state, Oladipipo Adebutu has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission of using not less than 4,899 ballot papers to rig for the state governor, Dapo Abiodun. The Federal Government has proposed to spend N9.2 billion on 71 polytechnics with each institution receiving N130 million. TETFund’s Director of Infrastructure, Mallam Buhari Mika’Ilu, on Tuesday, disclosed this at the TETFund/NBTE sensitisation workshop on 2023 zonal intervention on skills for rectors and directors of skills in beneficiary polytechnics in Abuja.
