No fewer than 37 parents of the missing girls in Chibok Community in Borno State have lost their lives to heartbreak since 2014. In April 2014, 276 schoolgirls were kidnapped from a government secondary school in Chibok, a town in Borno State. Two repentant Boko Haram members have been arrested for alleged stealing in Borno state. The Boko Haram repentants were among 110 suspects arrested for various crimes in Borno in recent operations by the state police command. The suspects were paraded before journalists on Friday by Borno the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Abdu Umar. The National Examination Council has been accused of illegally awarding N6.5 billion contracts for the printing of security materials. The indication emerged at the public hearing organised for the stakeholders on the bill by Senate Public Accounts Committee (SPAC) chaired by Senator Mathew Uhroghide. The Senate therefore, upheld the recommendation of the Committee after the NECO failed to defend the allegations.
