The state government announced the demotion of the affected teachers on Sunday. There was panic at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday when a Max Air aircraft crash-landed after the tyre reportedly burst into flames. The aircraft had arrived from Yola, Adamawa State when the incident happened. A 56-year- old man in Adamawa, Aminu Abubakar, has been arrested by men 9f the state Police command for allegedly dealing fatal blows on his wife till she died for attempting to leave him for another man .
