The National and State House of Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal in Kano has taken a decisive step by nullifying the election of the member representing Taurani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The tribunal ruled against Muktar Umar Yerima of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), finding him guilty of certificate forgery. The presiding pastor of the Abuja chapter of the House on the Rock, Uche Aigbe, has been charged with unlawful possession of an AK-47 rifle. The ruling was delivered by a Chief Magistrate Court in the Federal Capital Territory. Fawaz Adebisi The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the approval of Muslim head wear (Hijab) for  female students in government colleges . Fawaz Adebisi The Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta, has produced 118  first class and 1094 second class Upper  graduates for the 2021/2022 academic session. The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Olusola  Kehinde, disclosed this on Thursday,at a  press conference held as part of activities marking  the institution’s 30th convocation ceremony which begins  Friday. Tragedy struck on Tuesday as a hunter, Suru Abanta, popularly known as Odonkoro, lost his life to gunfire while actively participating in a search for kidnappers in Edo State.  The incident occured  in the Ufa area of Igarra in Akoko-Edo local government. A suspected serial killer, simply identified as  Esube, reportedly bit a police officer on his finger while attempting to escape.
