In a statement signed by the Director, Communication & Marketing of the institution, Dr. Joshua Suleiman, the criminals gained unauthorized access to some inconsequential records of the university’s clients, which they threatened to release if the university did not reach out to them. A 23-year-old assistant pastor, on Tuesday, narrated how a bishop of 1 Reign Christian Ministry ,Daniel Oluwafeyiropo, allegedly raped her twice. The survivor told the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State that the bishop, who she regarded as her spiritual father, raped her at his residence on Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos State, on June 21, 2020. Tragedy struck in Sokoto on Tuesday when 17 boys and girls died as a boat they were traveling in capsized in Dandeji river in Shagari Local Government Area of the State. The Council Chairman, Alhaji Aliyu Dantani, confirmed the incident in Sokoto.
