The Ogun State police command says it has invited both former deputy  speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Dare Kadiri for blocking  the gate of the assembly compound with his car. Kadiri represents Ijebu-North Constituency 2 at the 9th assembly was impeached and suspended from the assembly for gross misconduct . A 45-year-old Administrative Officer of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Mokuolu Samuel has been remanded by the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin for fraudulent conversion of funds to the tune of N8 million. The Officer was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on two counts of fraudulent conversion of funds before Justice Mahmoud Abdulgafar on Monday. Ridwan Oliyide Palpable fear gripped parents of some pupils of a secondary school in Osogbo, Osun State, Fakunle Unity High School on Tuesday when the teargas shot by police filtered into the premises . A former lecturer at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Muhammed Sani Nuhu had been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for conferring corrupt advantage on himself to the tune of N6.1 million belonging to the polytechnic. Aminat Gusanu Oyo State Governor,Seyi Makinde has terminated the appointment of all political office holders and dissolved the State Executive Council.
