A Lagos Magistrate’s Court sitting in Eti-Osa, Lagos,on Wednesday, remanded a lady, Olufunmilayo Brioluwa, in Kirikiri Correctional Centre for assaulting a police officer, in Ogombo area of Lagos State, on Sunday. The lady was alleged to have assaulted and held on to the officer’s uniform during a stop and search. She was arraigned before Magistrate M.O. Alao, and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Niger State government says it has spent over N6 billion to rehabilitate and construct 235 kilometers in six rural roads. The Permanent Secretary and Coordinator, Niger State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project, Hassan Etsu disclosed this during a one-day stakeholders’ workshop on sector reform, held at Idris Legbo Kutigi Conference Centre, Minna.
