Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the payment of N70,000 as minimum wage to civil servants in the state. The implementation of the new salary scale will commence in December 2024. No fewer than four staff of Areago Community High School, Ogbomoso in Oyo State, have been arrested as a result of a clash between students of the school and residents around the community. Dangote Refinery has resumed the purchase of crude oil from the United States to ramp up refining capacity and production. According to a Bloomberg report on Wednesday, the cargo conveying two million barrels of WTI Midland crude from Chevron Corp. is due to be delivered to the refinery next month.
