The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Idrisu Musa, over the alleged murder of his elder brother, Muhammed Haruna, and the latter’s wife, Habiba Muhammed, in Asarara Village, Jega Local Government Area of the state. Troops of the Joint Task Force, North-East, Operation Hadin Kai, have foiled a coordinated attack by suspected fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province on military formations in Yobe State, killing over 50 insurgents in the process.
