The Federal Government has approved the disbursement of N25 billion through the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) to bolster healthcare infrastructure in states. The Lagos State Police Command, through officers from the Akinpelu Division, has apprehended a 52-year-old physically-challenged man, Adamu Ileyasu, on suspicion of drug dealing. The Jigawa State Police Command has apprehended a suspected armed robber accused of assaulting a 20-year-old housewife in the Ringim Local Government Area. The State Commissioner of Police, CP A T Abdullahi  during a press briefing on Thursday, confirmed the capture of the suspect, along with two accomplices, following the reported incident.
