A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday, ordered the Federal Government (FG) to investigate, prosecute and punish perpetrators of the murder of founder of Newswatch Magazine, Dele Giwa, and other journalists in the country. An intelligence and security counterinsurgency group, Phantom Eye Hub, with a special interest in Lake Chad and North East Nigeria, has disclosed that  a weapons shipment in Niger has been intercepted  through a major intelligence operation.  According to the intelligence group,in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter)  the operation, which occurred over the weekend, took place in the northern part of Nguigmi, near the Niger Republic and Chad border. In a successful intervention, the Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended the suspected abductors of pupils and staff from the Apostolic Faith Group of Schools in Emure Ekiti.
