The Osun command of the south-west security network, Amotekun, has made a significant arrest, capturing a 26-year-old commercial bus driver suspected of abducting a 15-year-old girl in Osogbo, the capital of the state. Bashir Adewinmbi, the commander of Amot gekun in Osun, revealed on Monday that the girl had boarded the suspect’s bus on Saturday, only to mysteriously find herself at the suspect’s residence instead of her intended destination. The Federal Government has initiated a manhunt for Nadeem Anjarwalla, an executive of Binance, who escaped from custody. The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) confirmed Anjarwalla’s flight, stating that he fled on Friday. Zakari Mijinyawa, Head of Strategic Communication at ONSA, announced in a statement on Monday that preliminary investigations revealed Anjarwalla left Nigeria using a smuggled passport. Daud Olatunji The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has revealed how abducted 137  students from Kutiga were rescued from their captors. The DHQ said it was done  through a collaborative operation involving the military, local authorities, and government agencies. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced an increase in the fare for the 2024 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, citing ongoing forex challenges in Nigeria.  Intending pilgrims now face a total payment of N6.8 million, following a hike of N1,918,032.91 from the initial fare of N4.9 million.
