Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, is now expected to be announced as the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner on Monday night.
According to The Athletic, Rodri will win it ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.
It is understood that Madrid became aware of this in the last few hours and are fuming with the organisers.
The LaLiga giants do not believe the Ballon d’Or or UEFA respect the club.
They feel France Football have contradicted the voting criteria and are furious.
Madrid also feel that if the Ballon d’Or criteria don’t favor Vinicius for the award, Dani Carvajal should have been the one to win it.
