Ballon d’Or: He will clinch award – Ancelotti names winner ahead of Monday
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is confident that Vinicius Junior will win the Ballon d’Or award on Monday.
Ancelotti stated this on Tuesday night, after Vinicius netted a hat-trick as his team beat Borussia Dortmund 5-2 in the Champions League.
“Vinicius Jr will win the Ballon d’Or, in my opinion. He will get the award,” he said.
“It’s not about tonight… It’s what he did last season.
“Tonight’s hat-trick can help his case for the next Ballon d’Or.”
Vinicius is the huge favourite to win the award ahead of team-mates Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.
