Ballon d’Or: I will win the award – Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer
Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer, has expressed confidence he will win the Ballon d’Or award in future.
Palmer was included in the 30-man nominees shortlist for this year.
But Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior is expected to win it ahead of Jude Bellingham, Rodri, Kylian Mbappe and Dani Carvajal.
However, Palmer is confident he will be crowned winner soon.
“If I work hard, I believe I can win it one day,” Palmer told the UK Telegraph.
“It’s a surprise to be recognised at this level so early in my career, being in the Ballon d’Or list already.
“It’s a great honour.”
