Biden orders US forces to aid Israel’s defence against Iran
President Joe Biden has ordered United State’s forces to help Israel’s defence against Iran.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the White House.
DAILY POST recalls that Iran on Tuesday launched missiles against Israel.
US National Security Council spokesperson, Sean Savett, said Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are monitoring the Iranian attack against Israel from the White House Situation Room and are receiving regular updates from the national security team.
Savett said Biden had directed the US military to aid Israel’s defence against Iranian attacks and shoot down missiles targeting Israel.
The statement came as Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said it had targeted Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles.
