Veteran Nollywood actress, Lola Idije has finally reacted to the viral rumours of Biodun Okeowo snatching her daughter’s boyfriend.

Rumors erupted claiming that actress Biodun popularly known as Omoborty’s husband was once in a romantic relationship with Lola Idije’s daughter before Okeowo snatched him from her.

However, Omoborty during an Instagram live session denied the allegation and noted her husband has never in any capacity been linked to Lola Idije’s daughter.

But despite Omoborty’s denial, the rumours refused to die down.

Reacting to the controversy, Lola Idije clarified that she and her daughters had no previous connection with the man.

In an Instagram post, Idije wrote; “Good evening Everyone, I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air.

“The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call, I did not know him before personally, None of my daughters know him.

“Omoborty didn’t snatch my daughter’s boyfriend, l attended their wedding, there is no way she would do such and I would attend the wedding. I hope this clarifies everything.”
