Christians To Pay N3M For 2024 Pilgrimage To Rome, Greece

In anticipation of the 2023/2024 main pilgrimage to Rome and Greece, the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission has disclosed the financial details for the upcoming religious journey.

As conveyed in a statement by Celestine Toruka, the Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, the pilgrimage is set to commence at the end of this month.

The statement, dated December 28, 2023, and addressed to the chairmen and secretaries of all the States Christian Pilgrims Welfare Boards, reveals that the pilgrimage cost to Rome and Greece has been fixed at N3,000,000 per pilgrim.

This comprehensive amount is designed to cover return flight expenses, hotel accommodation, three-course meals per day, and guided tours of holy sites in both Rome and Greece.

The luxurious travel experience includes executive buses for six nights and seven days. However, it’s crucial to note that the cost does not include allowances for pilgrims.

The commission encourages states that have previously contributed for pilgrimages to Israel and Jordan to bridge the gap and participate in this pilgrimage to Rome and Greece.

To facilitate a smooth process, the commission urges both states and private pilgrims to fulfill their payments before services are rendered, emphasizing a deadline of the last day of January 2024. Plan accordingly to ensure your participation in this spiritually enriching journey.
