The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, has moved out of the Government House as he relocated his office to a new building near the state secretariat.
This was revealed, on Monday, by sources close to Shuaibu, according to Channels TV.
It was gathered that the new office, situated at No. 7 Dennis Osadebey Avenue, is not yet fully functional and lacks running water, sources close to Shuaibu revealed.
The relocation comes after Shuaibu withdrew his legal action against Governor Godwin Obaseki at the Federal High Court last week.
The motivation behind Shuaibu’s decision to relocate his office remains unclear at this time.
Shuaibu had filed a suit to stop Obaseki from removing him from office over allegations of disloyalty and misconduct.
