The Egba Economic Summit has celebrated one of its pioneer members, Engr. Ola Munis Sobande, describing him as a passionate and dedicated son of Egbaland whose contributions have significantly shaped the organisation’s vision for economic development.
In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday to mark Sobande’s birthday, the President of the Egba Economic Summit, Dr. Gbenga Adeoye, commended the engineer’s humility, selfless service and unwavering commitment to the growth of Egbaland.
Adeoye said Sobande, a founding member of the summit, had consistently deployed his engineering expertise and decades of professional experience acquired at Shell in Nigeria and abroad to advance the objectives of the organisation.
He noted that Sobande’s contributions had played a pivotal role in shaping the direction and impact of the summit since its inception.
“Your humility, dedication and unwavering love for Egbaland have been a great inspiration to us all. Your selfless service and commitment to the vision of the Egba Economic Summit remain invaluable,” the statement read.
The EES president added that the organisation deeply appreciated Sobande’s continued support and passion for the socio-economic development of Egbaland.
He prayed for good health, wisdom, strength, peace and many more years of fruitful service for the celebrant, while rejoicing with his family and associates on the occasion.
The congratulatory message was issued on behalf of the patrons, Board of Directors, Governing Council, executive members and the entire membership of the Egba Economic Summit.
