EPL: ‘Worst team in the league’ – Lampard slams Man United after 1-1 draw with Chelsea

Former Chelsea midfielder and manager, Frank Lampard has slammed Manchester United, describing Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side as the worst pressing team in the Premier League.

Lampard was not happy that his former side, Chelsea, did not pick up all three points against Manchester United on Sunday.

DAILY POST reports that Man United and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw, with the Blues entering the top four with the point.

Man United started the game in 13th place in the league, with manager Erik ten Hag having been shown the Old Trafford’s exit door following a defeat at West Ham United last week.

Maresca’s side did not start the game as many would have expected and Lampard was convinced that the Blues could have won the game.

He labelled the Red Devils as the worst team at pressing in the league

“Manchester United were there for the taking,” Lampard said.

“They are probably the worst pressing team in the league.”
