Five persons have lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident that occured along Dugbe, Oke-Ado road in Ibadan, Oyo State
The accident involved a mini bus and a truck .
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the sad incident which occurred around 10 am on Wednesday caused gridlock around the axis.
The mini van was said to have rammed into the truck after the driver tried to avoid being stopped by security personnel.
An eye witness who pleaded anonymity said the mini bus conveying cosmetic products was coming from the Molete axis to Dugbe before veering off to the other side of the road and rammed into the truck transporting cement.
He explained that the mini van had been trying to evade being stopped by security personnel before getting to where the incident happened.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the State could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
