Fubara more than your match – Atiku’s aide attacks Wike over ‘go rest remark’

The Special Assistant to former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Phrank Shaibu, has said Governor Sim Fubara is more than a match for the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

Shaibu said Wike’s resentment has made him to age like a septuagenarian overnight.

He was reacting to Wike’s remark that Atiku should rest because Nigerians have rejected him severally.

Wike said: “Assuming but not conceding, he has lost so many times that Nigerians have also rejected him.

“If you say that an election we did not contest or participate in shows that Nigerians have rejected us, it is okay; you that contested and failed woefully, Nigerians have rejected you (Atiku); therefore, pack and go home.”

Reacting, Shaibu posted on X: “Who truly needs rest, @GovWike or @Atiku? Can’t you see how the weight of bitterness has aged a man in his 50s into the likeness of a weary septuagenarian overnight? Such is the toll of a heart consumed by resentment—unable to show grace, incapable of charity.

“Rather than face the truth, he deflects, but it’s clear that the young and resolute Fubara is more than a match for him.”
