In anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo, has issued a call for unity and fervent prayer among Nigerians to overcome the challenges facing the nation.
In a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Adamu Abdullahi, Minister Gwarzo emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a sacred time for Muslims worldwide to dedicate themselves to the worship of Almighty God.
He urged Nigerian Muslims to utilize this period to pray for peace, development, and progress in the country, emphasizing the importance of unity and harmonious relationships among citizens.
Gwarzo called upon Imams and clerics to use their platforms to promote peaceful coexistence and unity during their preaching and Tafsir sessions.
Expressing concern over the current security situation and economic hardships, Minister Gwarzo called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s administration, urging citizens to collaborate with the government to address the nation’s challenges.
