I Have Impacted Positively On My Constituency, Says Delta House Of Assembly Member

Delta State House of Assembly Majority Leader, representing Isoko South II constituency, Hon. Ferguson Onwo has said he impacted positively on his people in the 7th State Assembly.

Hon. Onwo Spoke to journalists shortly at the end of the valedictory plenary at Asaba

He explained that the valedictory session of the 7th Assembly was an opportunity for Honourable members in the chamber to share their experiences, achievements, and challenges in the past four years.

He added that the plenary was a mixed feeling for some members in the chamber who might not have the opportunity to return to the 8th Assembly.

He noted that the valedictory session is a normal four-year ritual that signifies the winding off of activities in the chamber before the introduction of the next members.

He revealed that there was good and robust plenary with other honourable members in the chamber, and has left up to expectations in representing his constituency.

According to him, “In my four years, I have impacted positively on the life of my people and the constituency that I represent”.

He continued, ” I am proud to be part of history-making being the 7th Assembly member and majority leader that produces the Governor of the state”, adding there was no time a governor is produced and elected by the legislators”.

He disclosed that the governor-elect, whom the house members refer to as “Welfarist” has the needed capacity, to make Delta State great.

Pointing out that the Governor-elect MORE Agenda programme will accommodate all Deltans and will double the good work of the incumbent Governor in the state, especially in human capital development, infrastructure development, Youth empowerment.
