Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP), is said to have concluded plans to launch an online radio broadcast station titled “Radio Raeed”.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that it aimed at targeting more people in the North East to join its ranks.
This move, announced by security analyst Zagazola Makama, underscores the group’s adaptive strategies in leveraging diverse media platforms to bolster its influence.
It was learnt that the radio was planned to operate from KANGARWA and will broadcast in Hausa, Arabic, and Kanuri, amplifying ISWAP’s messaging and weekly propaganda summaries.
Impeccable sources told Zagazola Makama that the Radio Service which will be located in KANGARWA will be a supporter of Islamic State, weekly news Propaganda summary, will be broadcast in Hausa, Arabic and Kanuri.
Zagazola Makama on Sunday its X handle said the recruitment pace of the insurgency has still not been effectively halted and online media propaganda by the terror group has continued to play a key role in ensuring that the terrorist groups remain visible.
