In the wake of Afrobeats star Mohbad’s demise, Lagos police authorities reveal compelling evidence linking Naira Marley and Sam Larry to allegations of cyberbullying, physical abuse, threats to life, and assault against the late artist.

Lagos, Nigeria – Shockwaves reverberated through the music industry as disturbing videos surfaced, pointing to the alleged bullying and physical assault of Afrobeats sensation Mohbad.

While Naira Marley (Abdulazeez Fashola) and Sam Larry (Samson Balogun) vehemently denied any wrongdoing, a recent police briefing by Lagos State Police Commissioner Idowu Owohunwa has unveiled significant electronic and credible witness evidence connecting them to these allegations.

In the press conference held on Friday, Commissioner Owohunwa stated, “Despite the denials by Abdulazeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Samson Balogun (Sam Larry) regarding their involvement in Mohbad’s tragic incident between September 10-12, 2023, we have amassed substantial evidence linking them to cyberbullying, threats to life, assault causing harm, and conduct likely to incite a breach of peace against the deceased during his lifetime.”

“Currently in police custody, the duo is not alone in facing charges related to Mohbad’s untimely demise. Commissioner Owohunwa identified an auxiliary nurse, Ms. Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as the prime suspect in the investigation.

“So far, we have identified, arrested, detained, and interrogated five suspects believed to be involved in the chain of events leading to the singer’s death,” Owohunwa disclosed.

He further elaborated on Ms. Ogedengbe’s actions, revealing that she administered a series of “multiple and highly potent” injections to Mohbad on September 12.

” These injections contained Tetanus Toxoid, paracetamol, and Cetrazone, an antibiotic, all administered within a non-clinical environment by an unqualified individual.

“As the investigation unfolds, the music world awaits further developments in this high-profile case, which has sent shockwaves throughout the industry and raised questions about the responsibilities of those connected to the late artist.”
